Yesterday was a real eye opening experience as we travelled into the centre of the townships. The underlying unsafety was ever present as we visited nurseries and witnessed the poverty in which some of these children exist and it gets increasingly more shocking when we find that these are the lucky 17% of under 7s! We met with the government and had a lengthy meeting where they assured us of their support for The Auntie Foundation programmes.

Later today we fly to Johannesburg to meet with agencies and children facing the same problems.
