Andi Swain: CEO, Event Designer and Business Development
Andi is one of the most sought after Event Designers within the industry of live communications. With over 20 years of experience his expertise spans many areas including banking and retail, as well as some of the highest profile clients within the public sector
He develops new ways of communicating key client messages to target audiences and is one of the few individuals able to understand the deeper message of a client’s objective, creating an event that specifically supports that message. He has extensive production and event organisation experience, working closely with Evolution Live’s clients to ensure their audience is motivated and inspired; ultimately guaranteeing that they get their message across
TJ Lane: Managing Director and Head of Production
Tjden, (known as TJ), has more than 26 years’ technical experience in the live events arena. He has worked with most major organisations around the world. His expertise has delivered seamless technical production for conferences, awards shows, product launches and festivals for as many as 5,000 delegates
His specific responsibilities include maintaining and developing the Video and Graphics Departments within Evolution Live, developing new techniques for editing and communicating presentations. He is the key figure in the initial design concepts and ideas for client projects and presentations, liaising between Evolution Live and the client in order to maintain quality and consistency of the end product
David Mann: Technical Production
David’s role is to ‘make it happen’ for clients. He is the key element to creating and running successful events. David graduated from the Welsh College of Music and Drama with an Honours degree in Stage Management. Bringing artistry and dramatic looks to the Evolution Live skill set and always delivers the appropriate look for any specific project
On site David is the man in charge, responsible for all technicians and equipment and will liaise with the client and speakers to ensure all presentations run smoothly. David likes a challenge large or small, and prides himself on delivering creative innovative solutions for live events
Gavin Green: Multimedia Manager
Gavin joined Evolution in February 2010. His responsibilities will include managing and running the Evolution Multimedia Studio as well as the design and functional creation of video content and graphical presentations. Gavin has had over 20 years experience within the events industry and will prove to be a key member of the team. Gavin has completed previous film production for clients such as: Costa Coffee, Buxton, Apple and Bayer
Robert Riddell: Financial Director
Robert is our financial director who used to run a very successful architectural practice in the Borders area of Scotland. He moved south a few years ago to join the Evolution Live team. He is crucial to our organisation as he is the key man in charge of our accounts. It is due to his attention to detail that Evolution Live has continued to thrive
Donnie Douglas: Business Development Manager
Donnie Douglas is our Business Development Manager and specialises in the hire of Audio Visual Equipment from our extensive warehouse to clients who wish to run their own events.
Donnie has been responsible in the past for total technical support for events, finding technical solutions for any requirement. He is also fully conversant in video, projection, distribution, lighting and set-building, bringing all this experience to the fore when discussing projects with clients
Jennie Wright: Sales and Marketing
Jennie is the Sales member of the team and will be the key ingredient to bringing new clients onboard with Evolution Live in 2010. She graduated from Aston University with a degree in BSc Managerial and Administrative Studies. She then carved a successful career in marketing within the new media and digital space.
Jennie’s primary role is to win new business through client relationship management. Her focus is to ensure new and existing partners realise their full potential and experience the best of the best when partnering with Evolution Live. Jennie will also be a key player in the strategic direction and delivering the vision that is Evolution Live.
Jonny Fulton: Senior Technician
Jonny has been working with Evolution Live for several years as a freelance technician since graduating from Salford University. Jonny started his career as a technician by specialising in sound and lighting but has since moved onto tech managing. He has worked for a number of major clients including Mercedes Benz, Lloyds TSB and Morgan Stanly and is well liked by our clients.
Emily Miller: Senior Project Manager
Emily has been involved in many major projects and was one of a few, British employees involved in the Doha Asian Games Organising Committee. As our Senior Project Manager she takes the lead on major projects such as organising and running the MCM-ITP; organising all details of the event from accommodation, dining, transport, registration, through to invites and guest speakers. Her specific responsibilities are to co-ordinate and manage multi-faceted events and live communications projects
Lisa Wigley: Events Executive
Lisa is an essential part of the Evolution Live team. As Events Executive she works with all major clients to deliver the fundamentals of the event. She uses our internal team and suppliers to price and work out the details of any event. Lisa thrives under pressure and in adversity Lisa makes the client’s job easy and always receives high praise in the post event analysis
Jade Webb: Marketing
Jade is the newest member of the team after joining to complete a year’s placement as part of her Marketing degree at Bristol UWE University. She is involved in various projects throughout the company from the marketing elements such as looking after the website to supporting the events team
Neil Chesher: Non Executive Director
Neil has been with the company since it was created in 2003 and has been instrumental in aiding its development. Coming from a Technical and Marketing background with an American multinational, Neil has been able to bring his European brand skills to bear. He also gets used for a wider variety of projects as needs arise
Ian Leeming: Accounts Executive
Ian arrived at Evolution Live after a career in banking administration. Ian is our Sage expert and together with Robert keeps the Evolution Live books in order
