Astonbury is a local (takes place in Aston Abbotts) outdoor music evening which takes place annually. Since it started in 1999 the event is bigger than ever and there are no signs of it slowing down.

With outdoor festivals around the country fast becoming more popular than ever, local music festivals are a great way of showing home-grown talent as well as bringing the community together. It is estimated that 600 people attended Astonbury 2010.

The event took place on the 17th July 2010 and was a great night for everyone involved.

The total mileage was 1790.

The competition…

Will be taking place between June 14 – July 2. We will be receiving entries though-out this period until Friday July 2nd^th at 5pm. Entrants will need to email answers to jade@evolutionlive.co.uk.

So what do I have to do?

Each day we will post clues specific to where in the country we are visiting that day. Simply guess the right place and work out the total mileage we have travelled and you could find yourself a winner of your own road trip.

The prize…

If you guess correctly or are closest to the total, you will win an overnight stay at a Q hotel of your choice, accompanied by champagne. Evolution Live will contact the winner directly after all entries have been collected.

Rules & Regulations…

The rules & regulations are as follows:

• A competitor can submit a maximum of five entries. Submission of more than five entries will result in automatic disqualification. 
• The prize consists of two days’ car rental and one overnight stay at a Q Hotel of the winner’s choice. Accommodation can range from single/double or family occupancy depending on the winner and subject to availability. 
• The competition will only run between 09:00 Monday 14^th June 2010 and 17:00 Friday 2^nd July 2010. Entries received before or after these dates will be discounted.
• No cash alternative is offered and the prize is non-transferable. The winner will be notified by email. The notification will include details on how the prize can be claimed.
• The winner will be the closest number to the total mileage travelled.
• If multiple correct entries are received, the earliest received answer will be selected. 
• No purchase from Evolution Live Limited is necessary to take part.
• The car rental will only be available to competitors aged 25+,
• The car rental pickup point will be Milton Keynes, Southern England. The winner will be responsible for travel to and from the pickup point at their own expense.
• Winners must comply with Wayside Rental’s terms and conditions when in possession of the car. The winner is responsible for arranging collection and return of the car, and for providing at the winner’s own expense all fuel used between collection and return of the vehicle.
• The vehicle will be insured but the excess in case of accident will be £1000.
• Entrants must have a valid UK driving licence, with no more than 6 points on their license.
• No personal information collected through this competition will be passed on to third parties but may be used by Evolution Live for marketing purposes.
• The prize will be valid until October 2010. 
• Entrants must be 18 or over. No bulk or third party entries accepted.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Evolution Live Limited can accept no responsibility for any accident, loss or damage to prizewinners or their property as a result of accepting the prize.

So pack your sunglasses and buckle up on a virtual journey with the Evolution Live team as they tour the British Isles supporting a financial services road show.

We are offering social media users the opportunity to join us on a virtual road trip around the UK. On the 14^th June Evolution Live will be launching our road trip competition which will be hosted through our Facebook site (with clues also appearing on twitter and linked-in) … So get involved and kick start your summer in style.

Join us for some summer fun as we test your knowledge of sunny blighty through a series of clues, as our team let you jump into the passenger seat for a 2 week road show.

Can you outwit your office pals, friends or family to decipher our clues and guess the total mileage of our road show tour? Each day clues will be posted from each new venue and competition entrants simply need to identify where in the UK the team are in order to guess the total mileage covered whilst on their travels. The competition entrant who correctly guesses (or is closest to) the mileage travelled will win a weekend road trip of their own including free car rental, 4* hotel accommodation and champagne to compliment the weekend!  

Evolution Live will be running the road show, taking in 10 venues across the UK; this is just one of numerous that will be managed by Evolution Live throughout the year. This road show is fully produced on behalf of our client including supply of all AV equipment and all technical support on-site. Additional services we offer range from: venue finding to video production.

As organizers of multiple events at Sheraton hotels, we were invited to the ‘Handbags and Gladrags’ evening hosted at the Sheraton Skyline, Heathrow on Friday 14^th May.  

The event was themed around Sex and the City to celebrate the release of the new movie and the dress code was posh frocks and high heels… we were expecting all things fabulous and we weren’t disappointed!!

We were greeted by balloon modelers and pampered by professional hair, make up and nail stylists whilst watching the bartenders fling mixers through the air creating fabulous cocktails to accompany the New York Deli style buffet.

After dancing the night away, guests were treated to accommodation and breakfast at both the Skyline and Sheraton Heathrow hotels.

We had a fantastic evening that we all thoroughly enjoyed. I would personally recommend this event to any event organizers / managers and can’t wait till next year…

 The two day conference specialises in the science behind crime with audience numbers of approximately 170.  Its not all work for the delegates though as tonight there will be a gala dinner with various games for the guests to enjoy; including a Cowboy shoot-out competition, and laser quest all supplied by Evolution Live.
