Shareholder's Conference - June 2010 - Financial Clients

The Message

Evolution Live was briefed to deliver a one-day annual conference and Gala Dinner for 650 Delegates from a top 5 Financial Services Company. The event held on the 18th June 2010, was at the Westminster Park Plaza hotel.

The Idea

To give a fresh spacious feel to the venue, the stage set was designed to promote blue sky thinking. The lectern position was set centrally with a backdrop of white clouds constantly drifting across the sky and twin giant screens to either side were used to relay presentations and live camera pictures. To aid with seminar groups and to initiate discussion, Evolution Live designed a badging concept to enable the client and delegates alike to easily move between sessions.

The Delivery

Evolution Live worked closely with the client from the initial stages to ensure we designed the overall look and feel of the event to meet their ideals. We offered insight and advice including the live screening of the England World cup game, which fell on the evening of the gala dinner. All Technical equipment, set design ,construction and content was supplied by Evolution Live… we even filmed the cloud sequence. We worked closely with the venue team, and designed everything accordingly to create a smooth and successful event.

Conference and AGM - UK Nursery Chain

The Message

For the sixth year running Evolution Live were asked to Produce the Annual conference for one of the largest Pre School nursery chains in the UK. Set at the Novotel Hammersmith, there was to be a conference for 600 teachers, five seminar rooms and their AGM

The Idea

The stage was designed as a blank canvas, 70ft wide, 20ft high, totally white. The concept was that giant images of children at play could be projected onto the set with a central mask for slides and live camera images side by side.

The Delivery

Evolution Live designed the stage set, lighting and projection systems to impliment the concept. Using our Imagiser multi image system we were able to project multiple sources across the backdrop and this also allowed us to create a blank mask for Slides and Camera images. We spent two days on location capturing the images to create the opening video montage

The Results

Another successful event that ran smoothly and without a single hitch and both delegates and client agreed it was nothing less than they had come to expect from Evolution Live

Treasure Hunt - Local Council

The Message

The local council needed an event that would take place during the Easter school holidays which would attract local residents, in particular families and youth groups to the lower end of the High Street. The event was to be free to all Aylesbury Vale Residents.

The Idea

Evolution Live developed an Easter Treasure Hunt which involved Evolution Live liaising with the shops to gain commitment to the project. Shops displayed clues in their windows. The treasure hunt incorporated an educational theme to have fun whilst learning. Amongst these clues were letters which when placed in the correct order created a 2 worded phrase. There was also the opportunity for the entrants to create other 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 plus letter words from the letters they collected.

The Delivery

Evolution Live had organised face-painters, stilt- walker and balloon modeller who were spotted at various points on the High Street. They were popular with passers-by and those taking part in the treasure hunt. The hunt ran successfully and the main winners received prizes including: a Wii fit, a family membership to the National Trust, cinema vouchers, a digital camera and much more.

The Results

The event was well received with just fewer than 300 children taking part and exploring the High Street for clues over the 4 hour period. ‘Thanks Evolution Live, you have done a great job both with the event and the way that you have communicated with me.’ Diana Fawcett, Town Centre Manager.
